Foreign Character Rip-Offs
Hahaha, saw this over at digg, and it was just too funny not to repost. It’s amazing all the hilarious ways other countries rip off some of our super heroes, cartoons, etc. How about Batman gunning people down? Bollywood Superman dancing his way to defeat his enemies? I was actually kind of offended by the article because they thought that other Batman was cooler than the DC version? Batman doesn’t need a gun because he doesn’t kill people, that is not justice. And only Bruce Wayne has is way cooler and doesn’t have “naked” sex, but invisible clothes sex!

lol awww Strizzle you’ve finally turned geek! I can even see char with a tear in her eye right now *wub*.
I’ve heard about the Turkish Spider-man a while ago but I had no idea of the other lot. I’d say my highlights were:
- Turkish Batman & Robin (minus guns of course) but what great dynamics!
- Japanese Spider-Man as a super sentei! (aka a Power Ranger).
- Chinese Popeye, I think the irony behind that one is that you probably would see the proper Popeye fight oddly dressed mummies too :D.

I forgot to add that my next mission is to make an attempt at making a Greek version of a known superhero lol. A blue Hulk maybe? At least he could say “Hulk Smash…..Plates!!”

BTW Sam, my Batman love goes wayy back, I’d say I was about 12 when I started loving Batman lore.
