The odds of any number showing up vs. another by chance should be the same, right?  Yet I keep seeing 108 everywhere.  Whiteboards as part of math explanations, money totals, spoken, clocks, everywhere.  Now I know that 108 is significant in some Eastern religions/traditions.  Basically, 108 is proof to me that there are greater powers at work.

An elaboration/something more impressive?  I started seriously being baffled by the frequency of seeing 108 about a month ago.  I decided to choose another similar number and see how often I saw each number.  I decided on 102.  I repeated 102 to myself many times each day to get it in my head so I’d notice it when I’d see it.  108 kept showing up, and everytime I’d see 108, I’d think about the anomoly and think about 102 and repeat it again and again in my head.  I’m very concious of 102 and very confident that if I see a 102 I’ll notice it.  You wanna know how many times in the past month I’ve seen 108 vs 102 since I started counting?  THIRTEEN TO ONE as of today.

I’d like some others to try this and report your results back to me.
