Everybody's favorite graphing calculator!! Well maybe not anymore, but when I was in high school this was the latest & greatest. The TI-85 was significant
because it was the first one that hackers managed to execute assembly language on through a custom shell they built, called Z-Shell. I still have my TI-85, and
I won't ever forget the serious Tetris matches over the link cable that went on during English class when we were supposed to be reading/discussing important
books such as 1984 in groups. Also made study halls worth looking forward to. So here's the repository of games and whatnot that I have for it:
- Schematic for building PC<->TI-85 link cable
- WinTran - Allows transfer between calculator & PC.
- ZShell - Need this shell to execute games from.
- USgard - Alternative shell which looks like Windows, and accordingly takes up much more memory.
- Backup.85B - A personal backup of my TI85's memory, contains some of the games plus other things, don't know exactly what.
- pcx2gray - Converts PCX format pictures to grayscale .85S files which can be viewed on the calculator.
- picview - TI-85 Picture viewer, works in accordance with pcx2gray.
- ZTetris - The original, most popular, best, always fun, two player over link cable even, ZTetris!
- Nibbles - Also goes by "snake" sometimes. You know the drill, the snake gets longer as you collect more pieces, can't
hit walls or self.
- Tron - Tron! The two-player line vs line game!
- ZKart3D - The not-at-all-3D game where you steer your car as long as possible, as the winding road narrows.
- sqrxz - AWESOME side scrolling game. Really an amazing piece of programming for the TI-85.
- Daedalus - Another amazing piece of programming for the TI-85. It's a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, and comes with a level
editor!
- Plain Jump 2 - A plane-jumping game.
- PacMan - I think everybody knows what this is.
- Sim City - An early development version of Sim City.
- M.C.Mik - Another side scroller. I don't remember how good it is.
- Mega Racers - A racing game, also don't remember how good it is.
